About Me
Philip Rayos | Prime Realty Group
I started my real estate journey in San Antonio as a Broker's Assistant for Ron McClellan of Assist2Sell Real Estate, while studying at the University of Texas-San Antonio. Under his guidance, I learned how to perform comparative market analysis, read contracts, and how to work with clients just to name a few. By the time I turned 21, I had obtained my Real Estate License and sold by first house. I continued to learn the real estate business but my priority at the time was to finish by Business degree. When I graduated from UTSA the housing market had plummeted and I decided to move back home to Houston. As a new graduate in an unfavorable housing market, I decided to follow another passion of mine; teach. For 12 years, I served as a special education teacher, coach, and most recently, an Assistant Principal. During my last 5 years in education, I obtained my real estate license once again and began helping friends and family buying and selling homes. As the years went on, I had more and more friends and educators call on me for their real estate needs. In 2022, I became so busy with real estate, I felt it was time for me to leave my position as an Assistant Principal. It is easily the hardest decision I have had to make because I loved the people I worked with and the wonderful kids at my school but I could not ignore how much happiness helping my friends and family with their real estate needs gave me and the flexibility it afforded me to spend more time with my 4-year old daughter, Avri, and 1-year old son, James. In the classroom, I always treated my kids as my own. In real estate, I consider my clients part of my family and would never tell them anything I wouldn't tell my own. As a full-time real estate agent, I am here to serve you.
